well if you don’t see me around it will be due to shift work… my company has decided to start 24/7 shifts (as mentioned in my last post). planning was a headache… who know that implementing it would be such a bigger headache… the plan was for 12 people to start this 24/7 shifts… had to fire one cause his work was not up to standard… an other staff simply did not want to do shift work (even though when being hired and through many months of warning that shift work was coming…) sigh… well the show had to go on… i’m stepping in so that we can this show on the road…

tonight will be my first shift… and it is a graveyard shift… man i haven’t pulled an all nighter since i was college.

wish me luck and see you all in the morning…

*SIGH*

What a ride in the last 24 hours…

Yesterday Jun 15th, 2011 was Game 7 of the Vancouver Canucks vs Boston Bruins Stanley Cup Final. The build up to this moment was also a very emotional… win 2… lost 2… win 1… lost 1… My personal expectations could not have been higher for the Canucks. I felt like many others that this was THE year we would finally get to lift the Stanley Cup above our heads. The game started with a blast… but like with any fire, the Canucks seem fade…  Boston Scores… C0-1B… No worries… its only one goal… Boston Scores… C0-2B… we can still come back… Boston Scores… C0-3B… wtf!!! WTF!!! COME ON GUYS!!! *Breathe* 3rd period come back kids… 20 minute to pull the ultimate come back in NHL history… YAY BABY!!! 15 mins left… Come on… 10 mins left… I Believe… 5 mins left…  *sigh*

But the ultimate low did not come from the lost by the Vancouver Canucks…

The ultimate low is watching the stupid idiots in Downtown Vancouver rioting… Breaking and burning cars… smashing and grabbing from stores like the Bay, London Drugs, Future Shop… The total destruction of what was the most beautiful place on earth…

but there was a glimmer of hope as the night wore on with social media came to the rescue…

groups starting popping where people were encourage  to post pictures of the riot so the police can use the pictures to put those involved in jail where they belong. later… an event was created for the TRUE Canucks Fans to come out and truly show who we are by helping those affected clean up what was left of city…

even though I could not be among those Fans… seeing pictures of their efforts and team work gave me the warm fuzzies…

take a look… i’m sure you will get the warm fuzzies too…
