and i do have to say that windows 7 professional 64bit is definitely an upgrade to windows xp.

sorry xp…  it was fun while it lasted. but don’t worry, you will always have a place on my new computer (virtual pc xp mode).

Here are a couple things that stood out for me this year (not in any particular order):

  • started learning how to play an acoustic guitar. ( i can actually play some songs now…)
  • started learning how to play golf. (yes…  i can hit straight… and bought a sexy driver…)
  • my church (Crucible Church) went from worshiping in a gym, into a little office space and now we are in a theater. and we have a new lead pastor (Pastor Jack)
  • my collection of camera toys now includes the coveted 24-70mm f2.8L
  • being promoted to manager

so what do i have to look forward to??? don’t know… but my blog and i will find out together…

So what have I fixed so far? I have replaced all three toilets in my house. Patched my mom’s bathroom sink (almost had to replace the entire sink). Now I have to replace the kitchen sink’s faucet.

Holy cow there is a lot of faucet choices at Home Depot.  Fixed heads, rotating heads, pull out heads or side sprayers, etc. The choice would make your head spin. And then you have to worry about whether your sink is an one hole, two hole, or three hole configuration. fyi – our sink is a three hole configuration.

Hopefully I will be able to complete this faucet replacement before dinner.
